About me
FAQ

It’s the brightly colored, unique figurative style of the artist that initially draws Jolita’s collectors to her art. It is the stories created within these pieces and her ability to draw her audience into each painting that keeps them clamoring for more.

Jolita was born an artist. From the time she was a small child, she drew pencil portraits. Her notebooks were full of small drawings that got her into trouble more than once. A very good teacher of hers, understanding Jolita’s strong character, helped her channel her energy by having her participate in drawing competitions. Acrylics, watercolors and charcoal pencils were her media of choice. In high school she received the first place award winning a Lithuanian high schools’ contest to do the poster of "world peace".   Her unique style began at the College of Art in Kaunas, Lithuania. Jolita graduated with a fine arts degree.

She has exhibited in the most prestigious salons and galleries in Lithuania.

Jolita moved to the United States and attended the Art Institute of Schaumburg, IL. She became a graphic designer in part to help support her art, but more importantly, Jolita recognized that “a successful artist needs to understand business.”  This was the perfect way for her to do it.

While establishing herself, Jolita donated artwork to organizations like Mothers’ Union to raise funds to help children who have cancer.
